Felicity recently stumbled across this pacifier, after having not used one for probably six or seven months. She knew just what to do with it. I thought it was too funny.

Mother's Day

For our second Mother's Day, we went back to Armando's for lunch. We shared with Felicity, which is why she has the messy face. All of our spring holidays have been cold, so no sundresses yet!

Happy Birthday, Felicity!

Felicity’s first birthday was today. We took her to lunch at the Cracker Barrel in Colorado Springs. She had her first menu item, dry cheerios. Then she had a little nap while we headed over to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Felicity wasn’t sure what to think of the giraffes. She yelled at them when they tried to eat crackers from her hand. I suspect that was because she wanted to eat the crackers herself! She seemed to enjoy touring the zoo, but also seemed a little overwhelmed by all the sights. We got to see all the new areas that were under construction the last time we were there. Some highlights were seeing a bear swim in his pool, watching a newborn orangutan, and feeding the birds. We headed over for dinner to Adam’s Mountain Cafe, one of our favorite restaurants, where Christie had the shrimp and David the harvest crepes. We picked up some Colorado custard for dessert, and Felicity couldn’t get enough. We were all very tired by the end of the trip.
