This Friday David took off from work and we packed up everyone in the Tahoe and headed up to Rocky Mountain National Park. The weather was beautiful. We hiked around Bear Lake a little.'
Felicity was tired out from all the excitement.
We drove up on Trail Ridge Road as far as it was open and saw some spectacular views.
We also saw hundreds of elk, including some that passed right in front of our SUV. Some of the bulls still had their antlers and were impressive looking enough that we forgot to take their pictures. Then we headed over to Estes Park for dinner by the creek and fudge. David threw his fudge away though, as some strange woman picked it up off the scale and sniffed it. What's up with that?
